Boys & Girls Clubs of Barron County
BGC Members win 2nd Place!!
Boys & Girls Clubs of Barron County members, Jon Moin & Cody Gehl, participated in the 2009 Paying It Forward Eco-Municipality Earth Day Contest on Monday, April 20th at UW-Barron County. Jon and Cody attend the Barron Riverview Middle School after school site.
For the contest Jon and Cody had to create a sustainable food and/or energy system, vision, concept, or demonstration for their community. Their vision and demonstration of how a composting pile would work in Barron won them second place!!
